Good Morning Church and Friends!
Just wanted to touch base today and let you know that I am thinking of you and praying for you this morning. I also wanted to thank the church for your positive support.
I also want to encourage you not to panic. There seems to be a lot of that going around. I want you to be careful, take precautions and limit your exposure to others. I also want you to see this as an opportunity.
1) Hopefully this time will slow us down a little.
2) So take the time to be with God.
3) Be intentional about your relationships. Use the phone, text, write and send emails.
4) Pray for and pray with people about their concerns and issues through this time.
5) Ask God to reveal himself to people during this time. May we all see our vulnerability and need of His constant care. It is normally during times of great need that people begin to look to God.
6) Be positive and avoid cynicism. Be careful not to turn this into part of the political discussion. Let this be a time when we look to God and encourage others to do the same.
Remember, look to this page tomorrow at 830 as we livestream our service for you. It will remain on the page so everyone can see it at a later time.
In the meantime blessings,
Pastor Bob
